Animal lover and trainer, author Barbara Weir colors her story with the pageantry of her beloved animals.

She recently spent a decade owning an animal talent agency in NYC, providing trained animals for the media in general and for the Metropolitan Opera in particular. She has trained, shown and judged horses and dogs; taught acting and directed musicals for community theatre, and, with her husband, adopted several greyhounds (racetrack castoffs). He, she and they -- all live in retirement in NJ.

This is her second mystery featuring horsewoman/amateur detective Dulcy McGuinness.
